For Kids!
Have them check out Temple Street from 12-6pm, a hub for such events, from kids crafts to radical activities by the South End Press. Here one will also be able to find characters such as Sidewalk Sam chalking along the ground and Vox Ominous, who will be throwing paint onto canvases for his unique works of art! Nearby at the YWCA there will be acting for kids at 1pm with Tellier Booth. Kids are also likely to enjoy edible creations at Toscanini’s Ice Cream, where they can see how Ice Cream is made. Then they can head to the Harvest Coop Café on Mass Ave for face painting with Zinnia, or have a free glamour photo taken at the Tax Man by professional photographer Daniel Eppelsheimer, each occurring from 1-5pm. There will be many different options for kids to enjoy themselves all day at the ArtsCentral festival. |
